A good relay will generate a standard magnetic flux between the armature and the iron core. When the magnetic flux goes downstream, it will form a closed magnetic circuit with each component. In the magnetic circuit, a gravitational force will be generated to drive the armature force. Depending on the magnitude of the passing current, when a certain force is reached, the armature is combined with the contact to turn on the relay.
